Hey! My name is Sara Beth Crigger. I was born and raised in a small town of White Hall, Arkansas. Did I ever imagine myself in the bug industry? Heck no! My childhood dream was to be a vet. My teenage dream was to be a paramedic. My adult dream was to find a career that could support myself and my family. Pest control? Nope, still wasn’t on my mind.
I then met my (now) husband, Chris. He began pest control a few years after we married and found a love in killing these creepy crawlers. So, obviously, I began learning about these creepy crawlers. Very interesting stuff.
Chris continued his pest control career, as I began getting a degree in business and marketing. While all this is happening, Chris and I had our first baby: A little boy named Gabriel. A few years later, we added another little boy to the bunch: Aiden.
Life happened, and I unfortunately lost my mother. Memories and hard times caused Chris, Gabriel, Aiden, and I to pack our things and move from Arkansas. We found ourselves moving to the town of Muncie, Indiana, where a childhood friend of mine was living. Yes, we moved from mountains to cornfields. But that’s quite alright: The people have been amazing since day one!
Chris began working for a pest control company in Indianapolis while I chose to be a stay at home mom until we got completely settled. After about two months, Chris came home early from work. Unusual. He explained how the company he was working for was expecting him to slack on quality but still expected him to collect money for a full service. It was wrong and unethical. That is not how Chris wants to spend his days: Ripping off people like us. Chris then began working for another pest control company in Indianapolis. They did the same thing! Now, that’s not how we were raised! You do not rip people off for an extra buck. After two months at that second company, Chris came home early again. “Sara,” he exclaimed, “with your business background and my pest background, lets start our own company.”
Oh boy. But okay. We began a pest company in Muncie, Indiana. Our business started in November of 2015. We took our Southern ethics and treatment options to our Indiana area, and began gaining customers: more like gaining friends. As our business grew, so did our family. We added yet another little boy to our mix and named him Samuel.
Why did I create this website? Sure, you can give our company a call and we can give you information. You can even call other pest control professionals for information. But what I have learned since living here: there are a lot of dishonest people, telling stories to make you open your wallet. You need to know the truth. You need to know as much information as possible. Why should anyone keep that from you?
